A collaboration between Dracula Technologies and IM2NP
Second episode of our "Les collab'" series, a look back at innovative projects between industry and Carnot STAR research units! #2/ Dracula Technologies and the Institut Matériaux Microélectronique Nanosciences de Provence (IM2NP).
Dracula Technologies, a start-up based in the South of France (Valence), is behind LAYER®, a technology that powers connected objects with photovoltaics. Developed with the support of IM2NP, the Carnot STAR laboratory specializing in electronics based on organic molecules
, LAYER® is a photovoltaic technology designed using digital printing (inkjet) to power low-energy consumption connected objects using natural or artificial light. The advantages of LAYER® are manifold: technology that performs well in low-light conditions, lightness, flexibility, low environmental impact... And, thanks to digital printing, LAYER® can be customized to meet the specific requirements of connected products/objects.
