SFIP, CNEP - Centre National d'Évaluation de Photoprotection -, DECATHLON & TECHTERA, are organizing a new congress dedicated to the applications of polymer-based materials in the field of sports, to be held in Vichy on June 4 and 5, 2025.
Thanks to their remarkable characteristics, in particular their mechanical and physical properties, and their ability to present a wide variety of aspects, shapes and colors, polymer and composite materials play a key role in the realization :
Sports equipment and accessories: balls, skis, rackets, bikes, snowboards...
Individual sports and leisure equipment: clothing, footwear, bags, helmets, tents, safety equipment...
Sports and leisure facilities: surfacing, tracks, seating, sports facility roofing, liner, playgrounds...
One year after the Paris Olympic and Paralympic Games, we will be able to measure the progress made in materials performance, and identify the areas in which academic and industrial research structures still need to innovate.
During the two days of the congress, an exhibition area will be set aside for convivial exchanges.
