Since October 2018, Carnot STAR's team is based in the offices of the "Cité de l'Innovation et des Savoirs d'Aix-Marseille (CISAM)". The former headquarters of the SNCM shipping company is now dedicated to research and innovation in the heart of Marseille.
Aix-Marseille University, the CMA CGM group, l’Occitane and the Aix-Marseille metropolis are the four major partners in this project.
The objective : « To become the territroy's one-stop shop for industry with all the stakeholders in innovation and public research and to create an « innovation path » within a new organizational concept to achieve a faster time-to-market » (AMU).
In this approach, Carnot STAR shares premises with -among others-, the Research and Development Department of Aix-Marseille University, the SATT Sud-Est, Protisvalor and various incubators/ accelerators of Marseille start-ups (L’Accélérateur M - Métropole Aix-Marseille Provence ; Obratori – L’Occitane ; ZEBOX – CMA CGM ; Impulse ; Belle de Mai ; P.FACTORY).
